Behind Closed Doors is a thought-provoking seminar exploring the person we are in private, our intentions, hidden struggles, secret deeds and relationship with Allah.

Together, we’ll reflect on:

• The difference between who people see and who we truly are

• Sincerity (ikhlas) and living for Allah rather than people

• Private sins, private struggles and the power of tawbah

• The importance of secret acts of worship

• Building a stronger relationship with Allah when nobody is watching

• Preparing for the Day when nothing hidden remains hidden

SPEAKER PROFILE:

Mufti Amir Isap is a prominent UK based scholar, educator, and director who specializes in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), legal theory, and educational development. He began his formal studies in Arabic and traditional Islamic sciences at the Jamiatul Ilm wal Huda seminary in Blackburn, UK. To complement his traditional education, he pursued higher academic studies, ultimately earning a Master of Arts in Islamic Studies from SOAS University. Additionally, he completed postgraduate training focusing heavily on Islamic Fiqh and Legal Maxims, alongside further seminar work at Middlesex University.

Currently, Mufti Amir Isap serves as the director of Zidna Foundation, an institution dedicated to Islamic education and community development. He is actively involved in teaching advanced religious curriculum, including specialised courses on the foundational books of the Hanafi Madhhab through platforms like Islamic Knowledge. Alongside his formal teaching, he frequently travels across the UK to deliver community workshops, seasonal lectures, and practical seminars on essential practices like Zakah compliance and Hajj preparation.
